Yasemin has graduated from Marmara University Faculty of Law in 2009. She is a registered attorney at law before Istanbul Bar Association and trademark & patent attorney before the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office. She has started her career in all aspects of IP law in a leading law office in Istanbul and she has an experience in this field for fourteen years.
Throughout her practice, Yasemin has been dedicated to empowering her clients to protect, enforce, and optimize their intellectual property rights in Turkey. Specializing in trademark, copyright, and design strategies, she handles licensing, advertising regulations, unfair competition matters, and domain name disputes.
Yasemin has provided assistance to clients across diverse industries, including fashion, textile, automotive, cosmetics, electronics, telecommunications, retail chains, media & entertainment, food & beverage and pharmaceutical companies on trademark, patent, design, domain name, copyright and unfair competition matters.
She handles all necessary actions, including oppositions against publications, preparing cease and desist letters, and conducting raids to seize counterfeit products. Additionally, she represents clients before the Turkish Patent Institute and resolves disputes over domain name registration and usage.
She is a member of esteemed organizations such as the International Trademark Association (INTA), International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (AIPPI), and European Communities Trade Mark Association (ECTA).
